Submissions for the theme “New Common” are collected via SlideRoom. Please create a SlideRoom account and complete your application through the platform.

What to submit

Abstract (max 1,500 words)
One abstract explaining the proposal. The abstract should clearly indicate the content of the proposal – what it is, its context, how it has responded to local conditions and needs (or how it could respond if it does not yet exist), and how the design process mobilizes a community of citizens. The abstract should also indicate, in broad lines, how the proposal will be presented within the exhibition, including formats, media, and dimensions. -
Mini-portfolio
One mini-portfolio including the submitted proposal and a maximum of 5 reference projects and/or initiatives by the candidates(recommended as one PDF, files must be under 10 MB). -
CV
One CV of the candidates, maximum 3 pages(PDF, files must be under 10 MB).
Submission types
- A. Realized projects: completed initiatives — buildings, public spaces, natural areas, or collective mobilizations with a relevant design component.
- B. Research: studies and documentation around the topic of the New Common, with attention to architecture, landscape architecture, urban politics, spatial practices, and communication methodologies.
- C. Projects: proposals for future actions and interventions (already developed, or to be implemented specifically for the exhibition).
